Member Services Complaint 01

On 9/24/20, I sent an email to the
"Submit a complaint/grievance group",
using my KP.org email account.

I did this based on the advice I received during a telephone call with Kaiser Member Services at 800 476 2167, the number on the back of my member card.   I made a good faith effort to request a meeting with a Member Services representative at the Health Plan Administrative Offices in accordance with the Kaiser Permanente's member rights and responsibilities statement. It's a long story.  The details are documented on the Internet at:

Karen C. is Worthless

The purpose of this letter is to complain about the bogus response I got from Karen C. at Kaiser Customer Service, to my email dated 9/24/20. Karen C. made promises to me on behalf of the KP Customer Service Contact Center.

The Karen C. response says she has:

forwarded this additional information to a case manager for review, investigation, and response.
That was 4 months ago.
It turns out that a Karen C. promise is worthless.

I got the same BS response from Cheri M. on 1/24/21. I wonder if a Cheri M. promise will be any different than a Karen C. promise? They both sound exactly the same.

email dated 01/24/2021 from Cheri M., Kaiser Customer Service Rep. Case ID 40769975.

Cheri M. = Any Better ?

Cheri M., send me a letter in the US Mail. Write a sentence or two of thoughts that come from your original thoughts. Sign your name. I know you won't do that. Read the message at the bottom, under the headding: "My Conclusion". Get that message to the right pereson. See if you can do that much.

My Conclusion 01/25/2021

As of January 25, 2021, I still want to have a meeting.

I should have my meeting. Perhaps a 45 minute Zoom Meeting. But some kind of meeting. With a Vice President. Or above.

Someone (perhaps plural) should be very embarassed about this.

I will need a week to prepare. If Kaiser is ready to act in good faith, we can work out the details.

If Kaiser is not willing to meet, then at a minimum, they need to say so.

Does the Kaiser Management give the Member Rights Statement respect, or lip service? Do they bury their collective head in the sand and say nothing at all?

As things stand now, the management at Kaiser looks pathetic.

A Vice President (or above!) should send me a written statement. And sign their name.
Step up. You can do this.
