East Denver Pharmacy Complaint

State Board of Pharmacy
Rule Citation It is the Kaiser way. Kicking and screaming. They will fight you every step of the way. They will be a jack-ass about it. They will do the absolute minimum that they can get away with, without having to pay a fine. And they will test you. They will make it sound very reasonable.
My first visit to the East Denver Pharmacy was on xx/xx/xx. After waiting in line for about 5 minutes, I
asked to speak to the manager. I was told the manager was not in. I said: OK, can I speak to whoever is in
charge right now. Before too much longer I met Colin Murtaugh, the manager who was not available. Colin played the role of peace maker. Tseadra walked away, but I'm not sure how far. I remember that Colin, the manager, showed me Tasedra's pharmacy license, which of course had her name on it. I have a belief that I should be able to come into a pharmacy with a container, and show it to a pharmacist and say: I got a prescription here some time ago. Please tell me the name of the pharmacist that is responsible for, and accountable for, this prescription. I understand that the manager is going to have a natural reaction to want to know, what is the story. My position is that I have I right to know the name of the pharmacist, and the right is unconditional. The manager does not get to use the name of the dispensing pharmacist aas a negotiating chip. When I pick up the prescription, and the pharmacist asks me if I have any questions, and I say, what is your name, the pharmacist should be required to answer the question. I have a right to knkow the name of the pharmacist that dispensed my prescription. Period. more to the point, they need to provide the
This is a complaint against the Colorado State Pharmacy License(s) of the following:
Centrepoint "admits to" unprofessional conduct that is grounds for discipline. And then submits to the discipline, in the form of a stipulation. Case number "2011-002750" Centrepoint has a record. Which is saying something, because very few pharmacys are able to screw up bad enough to earn a disciplineary record. The Board will normally bend over backwards to give a "slap on the wrist", and then hide the violation from the public record. Which means if you can see it, the Board must have thought there was some reason it was "special". What I noticed when I read the stipulation is that they spelled "Centrepoint" wrong . My first thought was that you can't blame Kaiser for that. But when I thought about it for a few minutes, I realized, I was wrong. I do blame Kaiser for the mis-spelling. They have a consistant policy about names through-out the Kaiser Pharmacy, all over the country. From top to bottom. When it comes to names, they will fight you every step of the way. It's like pulling teeth. If they know there is no penaly for using a wrong name, you can count on a wrong name for as long as they can get away with it. Just as long as all they have to do is enter a correct name when they caught, they will gladly use a wrong name for as long as they possibly can. They will stall. They will obfuscate. They will act dumb. They will fight you. They will just be a jack ass at every opportunity. Kicking and screaming. Whatever the absolute minimum amount they can get away with, with no penalty, they will do 85 percent of that, to test you. And if they can get by with that, they will be pissed that they didn't do even less. And they will adjust, and do even less then next time. Like a complete Jack Ass about it. And then smirk. And act dumb. And the end result is that the State of Colorado mis-spells Centrepoint on the case document. And it's impossible (prety much) for me to know the name of know "the name of the Anonymous "Authorized Agent" of Respondent Pharmacy, i.e., Kaiser. And this, of course, is is exactly the way that Kaiser prefers things to be. Just as long as they don't have to pay any kind of penalty, you can count on this from Kaiser.
I attest that all statements made by me related to this complaint are true to the best of my knowledge and belief.
