Essay

On Friday January 29th, 2020, I visited the Kaiser Permanente Aurora Centrepoint Pharmacy. I made a diligent effort to find the pharmacy registration and the pharmacists licenseses. I was unable to find them.
I got in line. When I made it to the counter, I asked to see the licenses. In response, the person behind the counter asked me questions.

He asked if I was from the State Board? I should have asked him for money.

Eventually, he told me to move to a different window and wait there.

Another person arrived. It was not Colin. This person acted dumb and hard of hearing (deaf). What did you say?

Isn’t this fun?

After awhile, Colin arrived. From the time I walked in the pharmacy, until I spoke with Colin, took about 35 minutes. I was standing up the whole time. And that was just to get started.

Colin did show me all of the licenses. All 6 of them. He had them in a 3 ring binder. There was a pane of glass between us. The type was small. It was difficult.

This ought to clear up any confusion about the correct "Doing Business As" spelling of the Pharmacy Name.

Doh!
But wait just a minute. Maybe, just maybe, it was not entirely their fault. The devious Jack Asses at Kaiser can be counted on to actively works at providing dis-information at very opportunity, with a warm friendly smile worthy of the Academy Award.
It is the Kaiser way.

12-280-118.
Prescription drug outlet under charge of pharmacist - rules. (1) (a) A (4)
Every outlet and every pharmacist and pharmacy intern regularly practicing shall
conspicuously display the registration and license, respectively, within the premises of the place of practice or outlet.

8.00.30 Multiple Names.
A prescription drug outlet shall only use, operate or advertise under the name that appears on the current registration issued by the Board.

A pharmacist shall not be a party or accessory to nor engage in any fraudulent or deceitful practice or transaction in pharmacy, nor knowingly participate in any practice which detrimentally affects the patient,
nor discredit his/her profession
