Letter was mailed at the 80014 Post Office, on Monday, 6/17/24.  This screen shot shows I have a remaining balance of $2,182.50 with Delta Devoted on 6/16/24.

This screen shot was taken on Friday, 6/20/24 at about 10:00 am.  The item made it from Denver to Sacramento in 1 day.  The "expected delivery" is 6/21/24.

This screen shot was taken on Wednesday, 6/26/24 at about 8:50 am.  It says the item will arrive late.  Still has not made it to the destination Post Office (95670), but it is "on its way".  It is a 15 mile drive from Sacramento to the 95670 Post Office.  Seven 7 days later, and the item has still not made it.

This screen shot was taken on Wednesday, 7/13/24 at about 9:05 am.  It says the item will arrive late.  The Post Office says my letter has not made it to the destination Post Office (95670), but it is "on its way". 

Meanwhile, back at the ranch:
I received this letter from the Dentegra Grievance and Appeals Dept. The letter is from Sherrie Cosgrove, Triage Coordinator, but it is not signed. I received the document on Saturday, 7/13/24. The letter is dated 6/27/24. The letter acknowledges receipt of my complaint/grievance/appeal dated 6/17/24. They received my letter on 6/20/24, which means it took the Post Office 3 days to deliver my letter. Delta Dental AARP needed a week to receive my letter, log it in, assign Case ID: APP-306477, and send out a form letter to acknowledge receipt. There is no postmark or any indication on the envelope of when Delta Dental AARP actually mailed the letter dated 6/27/24, but it somehow took the Post office more than 2 weeks to complete a task that should take 3 or 4 days. One possible explanation is that Delta Dental AARP actually mailed the letter dated 6/27/24 on (or about) 7/9/24.

I received this letter from Devoted Appeals and Grievances. The letter is from Brandi H, but it is not signed. ----------------------------------------------------------------

Phone call to Delta Dental AARP customer service.  I called on 6/12/24 at 2:44 PM.  The call lasted 19 minutes.  I spoke with Sheniqua.  I asked for a copy of my policy, which to the best of my knowledge is called Explanation of Coverage (EOC).  I got a pdf file via email.  The file says:
" ELIGIBILITY & BENEFITS SUMMARY ".
It is 4 pages long.  It is not a copy of my insurance policy.

In order for me to effectively manage my account, I need to make decisions and take actions.  In order to make the decisions, and take the actions that are in my best interest, I need facts and data.  This is very frustrating.  It's like pulling teeth (no pun intended).

Have no record of receiving my reimbursement request.

4/12/24 My call to Devoted Member Services, in response to the voice mail .  Gabrial.
Confirms that the receipt for the $112.50 has been accepted.  Only the $52.50 needs proof of payment.

Reimbursement form, $112.50, mailed 5/11/24.
Date of service = 4/30/24.

Denial of Payment, form, dated 5/3/24.

5/20/24 My call to Devoted Member Services.  They claim to have not yet received my reimbursement form that I mailed on 5/11/24.  Avis and Alexis, both working from home.

Letter was mailed at the 80014 Post Office, on Saturday, 5/18/24, at 2:55pm, 5 minutes before they close.

This screen shot shows that on the next day, Sunday 5/19/24, the letter was still in Denver. The official Post Office estimate is a delivery date on Tuesday, 5/21/24. The Post Office thinks that on average, it takes 2 business days to get a first class letter delivered from zip code 80014 to Devoted in Eagan, MN.

The next screen shot, taken on Monday, 5/20/24 at 9:15 am shows that my letter arrived at the Saint Paul MN post office distribution center on 5/20/24 at 5:48 am. The letter has made it this far in 1 business day, or 2 calendar days. Current status is "in transit to the destination". The estimated deliverly is unchanged, Tuesday, 5/21/24.

The final screen shot, shows that the letter was delivered on Friday, 5/21/24 at 10:25 am . ----------------------------------------------------------------
